DC Salsa, Rueda and Social Latin Dance & Music Meetup Group

Some people like to go out and dance only Salsa all evening, while others like to dance only Tango, Ballroom or Swing. Some of us however enjoy learning and dancing all of the social Latin dances, as well as listening to the many different types of Latin music. And that is what this Meetup Group is all about. We want to include opportunities for both training and dancing in each of these, to include Salsa & Rueda, Merengue, Rumba, Authentic Brazilian Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Bolero, Lambada, Cumbia, Paso Doble, Bachata and more, as well as places to dance them in a fun, safe and non-threatening social environment for beginner as well as intermediate and advanced level dancers. Also, unlike some Meetup groups, EVERYONE is invited to participate without having to "apply for acceptance" (an extremely arrogant and discriminatory practice for sure in my opinion....but then that's just MY OPINION....). We want EVERYONE to learn and dance all of these incredible Latin dances.
