USA Dance Los Angeles presents "Midsummer's Dance," a fabulous evening of elegant ballroom dancing at the Mayflower Ballroom in Inglewood. Dance to a super selection of music from the incomparable DJ James Woo, including foxtrot, waltz, rumba, cha cha, salsa, samba, East and West coast swing, hustle, night club two-step, and more!

* Free foxtrot lesson at 6:30 p.m. with Alicia Richardson
* Free beginner basic ballroom lesson also at 6:30!!!
* Open dancing 7 till 10 p.m.
* As usual, plenty of dance hosts for the ladies
* 9,000 square foot, colorfully-lit, wooden dance floor
* Dance mixers and special performances
* Cash bar, free snacks
* Safe and secure parking
* Beginners welcome!


Admission is $17 for non-members and $14 for USA Dance members with valid card. Or join USA Dance LA at the event and enter for $10.

Please note that being a member of our Meetup group does not automatically make you a member of USA Dance LA. There is a separate application process for that.

    I am so bummed out - the last dance was fantastic, but I have to get on a plane that morning to DC for work. Have a great time, and I'll be at the next one!

    USA Dance Los Angeles is planning another extravaganza dance party for Sunday, June 1, at the Mayflower Ballroom in Inglewood. We had a large turnout for our last dance party in May and we anticipate the June "Mid-Summer's Eve Dance" will be even more successful. Hope to see you there!!

Although there were more ladies than men (which is usually the case anywhere you go), I thought a good effort was made on the part of the orgaization (via male hosts) to see that the ladies without a partner did get to dance. I also thought the idea of the hosts having the "red lights" was very unique so you could see who they were if you wanted to ask one to dance. The mixers were good, food good and the performances superb. This was my first time to attend and I was impressed. ”
